RSP, the chairman, and the secretary, respectively, visited the school. The Batanta Hope School on Yarwaser Island, Batanta, is a private school established by villagers with the support of the Raja Ampat Research and Conservation Centre Foundation (RACCR). In previous years, villagers submitted requests to the government for a school building. Each request was denied, so the villagers took matters into their own hands.
