Since 2020, RSP has visited the PAUD school “Kirewit” in Biak and helped with the purchase of furniture for the school. The playground was also renovated and the children had teaching materials. Tery Stroyer (one of the initiators), living in Biak, has spared no effort to teach the children not only to read and write in Bahasa Indonesia but also in their own mother tongue. The school will be registered in 2022 and will have a chance to receive government support (building maintenance, etc.). RSP will continue to monitor and support this school in the future.
